1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Producteasy.io ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Producteasy.io is a SaaS platform that provides AI-powered product description generation for e-commerce businesses. Our Service integrates with Shopify to help you create, manage, and publish product descriptions.
3. Account Registration
To use our Service, you must:
- Create an account with accurate and complete information
- Be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to enter into these Terms
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Subscription and Payments
Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis through Shopify Billing. Plan credits have hard monthly limits, and generation pauses after included credits are used until you upgrade or your next billing period starts. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
Trials: We do not offer free trials on paid plans. The free plan is available at no cost.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time in your Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
5. Shopify Integration
By connecting your Shopify store, you:
- Authorize us to access your store's product data
- Grant us permission to create and update metafields on your products
- Acknowledge that you have authority to connect the store
- Understand that disconnecting the store will stop syncing but won't remove existing metafields
6. AI-Generated Content
Ownership: You own the product descriptions generated for your products. We retain no rights to content generated specifically for your store.
Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and editing content before publishing.
No Guarantee: We do not guarantee that generated descriptions will improve sales, SEO rankings, or any other business metrics.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Generate content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit our systems
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to abuse the Service
- Generate misleading or fraudulent product descriptions
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Producteasy.io and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Producteasy.io shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
